"T Minus 181" and Adventures In BushSpeak

"But all in all, it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me." - George orWell Bush, summing up his first year in office, Washington, D.C., Dec. 20, 2001

Yeah, "right." Fabulous, simply fabulous. Thankfully, there's only 181 days until The End Of An Error.

That's my favorite Bush quote!

The perfect peek into the man's mind and soul. Three months after September 11th, that's how he summed up the year: all in all, it was fabulous year for Laura and me.

That's really all anyone ever needed to know about this administration's judgment, compassion, worldview, and character. But to this day, there are millions of Americans who praise him as a leader.

There is a deep moral sickness and "hate America" sentiment expressed in that quote and in the subsequent conservative and Republican support for Bush. But it went right by most of the media, and it escapes too many Americans.
